We Are What We Eat!

We are what we eat. Raw and live foods contain life, light-that divine spark of the creator within. We must feed ourselves of that which we are made. We are fields of energy that must have a battery to charge and recharge, giving us fuel to move. What's the fuel? It's our food. Food is what creates our mood. When we eat life, foods loaded with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, electrolytes, etc., we become full of energy, our thoughts are more focused and we can accomplish daily goals with ease. It's all in the full spectrum of the rainbow of our fruits and vegetables. Here's to life.

Vegetarian Pasta

My vegetarian pasta dish took less than 25 minutes to prepare. Instead of sauteing or baking my vegetables, I decided have them raw.
1. I used brown rice pasta; boiled it for 11 minutes and drained the water.
2. I added fresh tomato sauce with basil and other herbs and spices.
3. Then, I mixed in the raw vegetables chopped into small pieces and let it cook for less than five minutes. This doesn't alter the raw state of the vegetables, but use your preference. You can cook it a little long if you so desire.
It's done and ready to enjoy!

I just created a vegetable rice dish.. Easy to prepare:
1. Cook your rice (brown, Basmati or Jasmine) on the stove top.
2. Sautee' your favorite vegetables: red, yellow & orange peppers, zucchini, squash, onions, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. Add herbs and spices for taste.
Personally, I like to bake my vegetables in extra virgin olive oil using glassware. It frees me up to do other things vs. sauteing.
3. Once the vegetables and rice are done, add the rice into the vegetables and mix until well blended

There you have it! If you like tomatoes, add fresh tomato and basil sauce to give it added flavor!
